Theme Park Project in Marbella under study
The major of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, has announced the beginning of proceedings in order to study the feasibility for the development of a new tourist mega resort in Marbella which could include not only hotels but also a big leisure area with a theme park, sport facilities and shopping area among others.
The land, owned by a Spanish company, has an aproximate surface of 3,5 million square meters.
The document with the details of the project has been already sent by Marbella Town Hall to the regional authorities (Junta de Andalucía) in order to study the economic and urbanistic project feasibility.
There are not many details yet but this project could be very positive for the area and for the necessary job creation.
